City of Yokohama Konan ward　Guide for Foreign Residents

If you become pregnant, report to Konan Health and Welfare Center (Konan Fukushi Hoken Senta) and you will receive a Mother and Child Health Handbook. The Handbook has a pregnancy progress record and is a required item for birth registration, child vaccinations and medical check-ups. It also contains slips for free examinations. Even those who give birth overseas are issued the handbook upon submitting completed registration forms.
