Welcome to Naka Ward

Non-Japanese residents account for about 10% of the population of Naka Ward. As such, many from various countries visit the ward office every day to complete the procedures for moving into Naka Ward. We provide them with a welcome kit that contains all the information they need to help them settle in to the community.
The welcome kit includes such things as a welcome leaflet, NAKA-KU Ward Resident Life Activity Map, and a leaflet on how to properly dispose of garbage.

Foreign language versions of the pamphlet (English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, and Vietnamese) and leaflet (English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Filipino, Thai, Vietnamese, French, and Nepali) are available (at the bottom of the following page).
